Schweinsteiger: Looks to be on his way out of Old Trafford after just one year

If, as suspected, Jose Mourinho wants to clear out some dead wood at Manchester United it is going to cost the club a A LOT of money.

Earlier this week it was reported that four big names are set to be shown the door at Old Trafford - Juan Mata, Danny Blind, Marcos Rojo and Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Yesterday it was also reported that Mata would be going nowhere but today the talk about another of the unwanted four is on his way.

However, according to the Sun, selling Schweinsteiger will cost United a hefty wedge.

They say that the 31-year old will need the remaining two years of his contract paid off before he will leave, which will cost the Red Devils a staggering £14m.

The paper says that PSG are interested in the German international, despite the midfielder's injury woes during his first season in the Premier League.

Clubs in his native Germany and Italy are also reported to be interested but it seems the French giants lead the way.
