With a little lull in the Euro 2016 action, football rumours have come out swinging with a big one.

According to today's Sun, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is planning a £50million move for Arsenal and Wales midfielder AARON RAMSEY if their bid to lure Borussia Dortmund's Henrikh Mkhitaryan fails.

United's pursuit of the Armenian is already shaping up as the transfer saga of the summer with reports this week alone suggesting that they had hit a stumbling block and that a fresh larger bid had been made.

Like all clubs they will have a list of other targets but trying to prise the Welshman from Arsene Wenger would surely be too ambitious, even for Mourinho.

Ramsey has been at Arsenal since he was 17 and the 25-year old is a popular figure with the fans.

Elsewhere, new Everton manager Ronald Koeman wants to sign former Man United winger NANI from Fenerbache, writes the Mail.

Tottenham want Roma striker ANTONIO SANABRIA to boost their attacking options ahead of their Champions League campaign, according to the Mirror.

The Guardian says West Ham are preparing a £15million bid for Juventus striker ZAZA, who is currently playing for Italy at Euro 2016.

Liverpool are close to sealing a £25million deal to sign Southampton winger SADIO MANE, claims the Sun.
