Dortmund confirm Henrikh Mkhitaryan will sign for Man United
Manchester United have signed Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund, the German club have announced.
The deal had been long been rumoured to be going ahead, and earlier this week United themselves appeared to confirm the deal, if only by accident.
The 27-year old comes highly rated and along with the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, this is turning into a very good for Manchester United fans.
Mkhitaryan has just one year left on his Dortmund contract and was adamant that he would not sign a new deal, forcing Dortmund to sell now rather than lose the player on a free transfer next summer.
United are signing a player who was in prolific form last season, scoring 11 goals and registering 20 assists for Dortmund and his arrival will spark speculation over the future of several of United's midfield stars.
