Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool all track French defender
Three of the biggest clubs in England are set to battle it out for a promising young defender.
According to The Sun, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are all in the hunt for the signature of Presnel Kimpembe, a 21-year-old French defender who currently plays for PSG.
After breaking into the team this season, Kimpembe has been so impressive that he has earned a first international call up and that early-season form has alerted three of the biggest names in the Premier League.
Chelsea appear to be most in need of defensive additions, considering the age profile of their back four.
Branislav Ivanovic is 32, John Terry is 35 and Gary Cahill is 30. Even new signing David Luiz will turn 30 before the end of the season.
It was Luiz' move to the Blues that freed up a spot in the PSG team for Kimpembe to shine in Ligue 1 and it may now also pave the way for him to follow the Brazilian from Paris to London.
Kimpembe is contracted to the French giants until the summer of 2018 but his current form, and reported interest from other clubs, will surely see PSG try to get him to extend his contract with them.
