Manchester United have have completed the line-up of Premier League teams in this season's Champions League draw and their year out of UEFA competition has not hurt their seeding.

With the revamped Champions League seedings ensuring the side that won their domestic championship in Europe's eight top leagues last season are given a place in Pot 1, the draw looks certain to throw up a host of high profile clashes.

United and Arsene Wenger's Arsenal and Manuel Pellegrini's find themselves among the second group of seeds, with the last of that trio sneaking in as the last of the teams in Pot 2.

There are traps to be avoided in Pot 3 and 4:

This would be the dream draw for the English teams in pot 2:

PSV EINDHOVEN

MANCHESTER UNITED/ARSENAL/MANCHESTER CITY

LYON

MALMO

And the Premier League champions will be hoping for this:

CHELSEA

BAYER LEVERKUSEN

LYON

ASANTA

How about this for a nightmare draw that United, Arsenal and City will want to avoid:

BARCELONA

MANCHESTER UNITED/ARSENAL/MANCHESTER CITY

SHAKHTAR DONETSK

WOLFSBURG

And a the worst case scenario for Premier League champions:

CHELSEA

REAL MADRID

CSKA MOSCOW

WOLFSBURG
