Liverpool and Ireland goal scoring great John Aldridge was crying into his beer as his former club lost to Manchester United last Sunday, but at least he had the consolation of winning his sundayworld.com bet.

Aldo's tip that Liverpool striker Christian Benteke would score against United proved to be a good bet, as the Belgian striker produced a sensational overhead kick to give his some some brief hope of a positive result at Old Trafford.

That was snuffed up by Anthony Martial's late clincher for United, with Aldo now hoping Liverpool make better use of their lead striker when they entertain Norwich at Anfield on Sunday.

"Liverpool need to find a way to make best use of Benteke and that means getting balls into the box far more than they have been doing," Aldo tells us.

"They need to stop the slide in the Premier League by getting a result against Norwich and the best way to get that result is to get Benteke into the game as much as possible."

Aldo has now won twice in his weekly sundayworld.com bet in association with Paddy Power and he is hoping this punt gives him another success this weekend:

Christian Benteke to score and Liverpool to beat Norwich on Sunday (possible winnings €154.20)
