Beat the bookies with Aldo - Liverpool special
John Aldridge fell one goal short of another charity windfall in his sundayworld.com bet last weekend, but he is hopeful of going one better this week.
Manchester City's failure to beat Southampton on Sunday ruined Aldo's last bet, but that has not deflated his expectations ahead of another weekend of Premier League action.
Aldo has won thousands of Euros for Dublin's Temple Street Children's hospital with his weekly bets on this website over the last three years and he is returning to familiar territory with this weekend's punt.
The former Liverpool striker is backing Jurgen Klopp's Reds to beat Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening, but he is not expecting it to be an easy ride the in-form title chasers.
"Palace have a decent record against Liverpool in recent years and they are very strong on set-pieces, which could be bad news for Liverpool," says Aldo.
"Klopp's side are still struggling to defend against good quality balls into the box, so I would expect Palace to score in this game.
"Yet I would still fancy Liverpool to get the job done because they are playing some wonderful attacking football at the moment."
Here is Aldo's latest sundayworld.com bet in association with Paddy Power:
€50 on Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace on Saturday and both teams to score at 21/10 (potential returns €165.00)
