Beat the bookies with Aldo: Ireland v Scotland
Republic of Ireland great John Aldridge had yet another big win in his sundayworld.com bet last weekend, as he correctly predicted the score of the Champions League final.
Barcelona's 3-1 win against Juventus in Berlin gave Aldo another windfall of €650 for Dublin's Temple Street Children's hospital, with his winning total from his weekly bets with Paddy Power now standing at close to €5,000 for this season.
In his final bet of the season, Aldo is turning his attentions to the game that will bring Ireland to standstill, as he is backing Martin O'Neill's men to get the vital Euro 2016 qualifying win they need against Scotland in Dublin.
"It will be tight and the nerves will be fraying, but it is about time Ireland got a big victory in a qualifier," Aldo tells us.
"Hopefully Martin gets his tactics right and the lads perform under pressure and I wish them all the best against Scotland."
Here is Aldo's final bet of the season - and all Irish fans will be hoping he comes up with another winner!
€50 on Ireland to beat Scotland 1-0 in the Euro 2016 qualifier at 11/2 (possible winnings €325.00)
