Liverpool and Republic of Ireland goal scoring great John Aldridge has turned his attention to the big FA Cup tie between Chelsea and Man City for this week's bet.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini admits he is struggling to piece together a team for the trip to Stamford Bridge for what appears to be an enticing FA Cup fifth round tie, so the odds appear to be stacked in Chelsea's favour.

With a Champions League trip to Dynamo Kiev on their horizon next Wednesday and the Capital One Cup final against Liverpool to prepare for next Sunday, City are clearly clearly downgrading the significance of this latest meeting with the Blues.

"Given what the City manager has said about his injury problems for this game, you can only think that Chelsea will win the tie," Aldo tells us.

"This game means a lot to Chelsea as the FA Cup is probably their best chance to win a trophy this season, but I still fancy City to nick a goal against them."

Here is Aldo's latest bet in association with Paddy Power and all winnings will be donated to Dublin's Temple Street Children's hospital:

€50 on Chelsea to beat Man City and both teams to score at 13/5 (potential returns €180.00)
