John Aldridge came so close to another win in his weekly charity bet last weekend, with Arsenal letting him down in the final leg of his treble.

Arsenal's failure to beat Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium denied Dublin's Temple Street Children's hospital another windfall, but Aldo is back for another punt this weekend, in association with Paddy Power.

Our man his turning his attention to the FA Cup this weekend, as he has predicted the winners of the two semi-finals being played at Wembley.

"Everton were a shambles against Liverpool in the derby game on Wednesday night and they were lucky to only lose 4-0, so I expected Man Utd to beat them in the first semi-final," Aldo tells us.

"I'm going for Crystal Palace to beat Watford in the second semi. That one could go either way, but Palace probably have a couple more match winners."

Here is Aldo's latest bet in association with Paddy Power:

€50 on Man Utd to beat Everton and Crystal Palace to beat Watford in the FA Cup semi-finals (potential returns €234.00)
