Ireland goalscoring great John Aldridge had a surge of winning bets in the final weeks of this season - and now he is back for one more in Saturday's Champions League final.

Aldo is already looking forward to seeing his beloved Liverpool back in the Champions League next season and he predicts they will be part of a competition featuring defending champions Juventus.

Reigning European kings Real Madrid will look to become the first club to win back-to-back Champions League titles when they take on the Italian champions in Cardiff on Saturday, as he predicts the final in the Millennium Stadium will go all the way to a penalty shoot-out.

"Real Madrid have such a great record in the Champions League and it is hard to back against them, but I just have a sneaky feeling for Juventus," Aldo tells us.

"Italian teams are always good at keeping things tight at the back and I suspect they will frustrate Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mates in Cardiff.

"Juventus to win it on penalties? That sounds like a good bet to me."

Aldo has won thousands of euros in his weekly sundayworld.com bets in association with Paddy Power this season, with all the money going to Dublin's Temple Street children's hospital and here is his latest punt:

€50 on Juventus to beat Real Madrid on penalties in the 2017 Champions League final @9/1 (potential returns €500.00)
