Republic of Ireland goal scoring great John Aldridge is backing the class of 2016 to get the job done in Moldova tonight, as he returns for another sundayworld.com charity bet.

Aldo has raised thousands of pounds over the last couple of years with his bets in association with Paddy Power and all winnings will be handed over to Dublin's Temple Street Children's hospital in the coming weeks.

He is hoping to boost his winning pot by backing injury-hit Ireland to win their World Cup qualifier in Moldova tonight, but he is not expecting it to be an easy ride against the Group D minnows.

"Ireland don't have the players to blow these smaller nations away, so it will be a tough task getting the three points," Aldo tells us.

"I am backing Martin and the boys to get the job done, but I think all Ireland fans could be in for a nervous night."

Here is Aldo's latest bet:

€50 on Ireland to be drawing at half time and then to win in Moldova at 11/4 (potential winnings €187.50)
