Arsenal's new kit is unveiled
There have been plenty of leaks on Twitter over the last few weeks and now Arsenal have finally unveiled their new kit for the 2015/16 season.
It turns out that some of the social media images of the new Arsenal home kit proved to be accurate, with Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky among those on hand to display the new kit at the grand launch.
The £30m-a-year deal with Puma started in the summer of 2014, with the five-year contract hailed by the Gunners as one of the most lucrative the game had seen.
“Our fans are incredible and play a really big role in our performance and motivation," Cazorla said at the kit launch at the club's Emirates Stadium home.
"Being at the Emirates and seeing so many of them chanting and supporting us was really great. There was so much passion in the crowd, it reminds us how lucky we are to have these supporters.
"The kit has a lovely design, classic like an Arsenal kit should be with some very nice design features.”
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was also on hand for the kit launch evening that also featured the talents of DJ Gilles Peterson.
The kit was widely linked on Twitter in recent days, with these tweets from last week turning out to be the real deal.
