Arsenal beat Premier League rivals to sign teenage wonderkid
Arsenal have seen off Manchester City and Chelsea to nab the signature of 18-year old Kelechi Nwakali.
The Nigerian underage international was a star at the Under 17 World Cup last year, sparking the interest of some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
Arsenal, however, won the day, with the player's agent Nwankwo Kanu surely being a help to the Gunners.
The youngster is the fourth player to arrive at the Emirates this summer, following Granit Xhaka, Rob Holding and Takuma Asano.
However, Arsenal fans will be hoping that Arsene Wenger can complete deals for more established names, with today's papers still linking the club with Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette and Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi.
The Gunners need new additions in both those areas but the high fees being demanded by both clubs may mean the potential transfers may never come to pass.
And it was also revealed today that another potential Arsenal target, German winger Julian Draxler, is now being chased by Everton, with reports that the Toffees could splash £63million on the player.
