Jamie Vardy's proposed move to Arsenal appears to have stalled for now but Laurent Koscielny was happy to speak about just how good he believes the England striker is.

The Frenchman was following in the footsteps of international and club colleague Olivier Giroud, who spoke glowingly about Vardy over the weekend.

Speaking to Omnisport, the Arsenal defender was full of good things to say about the Leicester man's ability.

"He's hard to play against because he likes to use depth, he's very good at running behind the defence," Koscielny said.

"And in front of the goal, he doesn't think, he feels the goal, as soon as he can shoot, he does. He proved this season with Leicester that he can be a great striker, and he scored some goals with his national team."

However, while Giroud confirmed that the clubs were in talks to sign the red-hot forward, Koscielny was more reserved, refusing comment, simply saying: "You know, I don't like to talk when it's not signed."

Smart move Laurent...
