Ancelotti insists Bale is happy at Real Madrid
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has launched a strong defence of Gareth Bale and insisted the Welshman is in no rush to leave the club amid talk of a summer bid from Manchester United.
Bale has come under fire from sections of the Real Madrid crowd this season, with United's interest in the player sparking continued speculation that they will make a move to sign the 25-year-old this summer.
Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett was quoted as suggesting the Real Madrid players were not helping his client's fortunes in the Spanish capital, with Ancelotti quick to hit back at that suggestion.
"This is a world in which a lot of people talk and sometimes they talk too much," said Ancelotti.
"Bale is delighted for be here. He has never had problems with his team-mates and his team-mates have never had problems with Bale.
"Bale's agent, who has never been to one of our training sessions, who doesn't know the atmosphere we have, spoke from outside. It would have been better to stay quiet.
"He (Bale) has had a good season. Last year he scored in the final of the Copa Del Rey and the Champions League, as well as other important moments. We are happy with him."
Bale faces another big test in front of the Real Madrid faithful on Wednesday night, as his side look to turn around a 2-1 first leg deficit in their Champions League semi-final against Juventus at the Bernabeu.
