Ruby Walsh "hopeful" Felix Younger can land Tied Cottage Chase
Ruby Walsh is "just hopeful" Felix Yonger can justify odds-on favouritism in Sunday's BoyleSports Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown.
The 10-year-old has won five of his last six starts for Willie Mullins and opened his account for the current campaign in last month's Hilly Way Chase at Navan.
Walsh feels his big-race mount has plenty on his plate to follow up this weekend, however, with the champion trainer also running Mozoltov and Twinlight, while Anthony Curran's Flemenstar is another major contender following his Grade One triumph at Leopardstown last month.
"It looks a very tight race, with Mozoltov all but right on ratings, and certainly not out of it," Walsh told the Irish Examiner.
"Felix Yonger won the Hilly Way Chase on testing ground, but there's no doubt he's better on quicker ground.
"Days Hotel has to bounce back to form and Draycott Place looks out of his depth but, them aside, it's the type of race you could look back at and figure out straight away why any of the four won.
"I'm just hopeful"
