AP McCoy will head to the Aintree Grand National with heartbreaking loss to Katie Walsh.

The great AP McCoy's final professional ride at an irish racecourse ends with a loss for Thomas Edison in the Farmhouse Foods Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse.

The Tony Martin trained/JP McManus owned horse came in behind Katie Walsh on the 20-1 shot Thunder and Roses.

Earlier in the day, the champion's other mount on his final working day in Ireland saw McCoy draw a blank, aboard another McManus horse, Rathpatrick.
