Dublin punter nets over €60,000 with audacious €200 bet on golfer

An unlikely win at Sawgrass for golfer Si Woo Kim has seen a Dublin punter scoop over €60k.

The 21-year-old South Korean became the youngest man to win the Players' Championship last night:

Having gained his PGA Tour card at just 17, Kim had failed to make the cut several times in recent outings:

However, the Dublin bettor struck gold when be put €100 on the young golfer to win the tournament, with another €100 on an each-way finish at 500/1.

The €200 staked has now brought in winnings of €60,200 for the lucky punter, who prefers to remain anonymous according to the Irish Mirror.
