Dundalk to face New Saints – if they can turn European tie around
Two sides from these islands, The New Saints and Dundalk, will meet in the next round if both sides overturn first-leg deficits in the Uefa Champions League 2nd round qualifiers.
The Airtricity League champions look to have a better chance of progressing after hitting an away goal in a 2-1 defeat by BATE Borisov in Belarus.
The Welsh side were beaten 1-0 at home by Hungarian champions Videton.
Northern Irish champions Crusaders were drawn against Bulgarian side Ludogorets or Moldovans Milsami, but they will have to overturn a 4-1 deficit when they travel to Albania next week to play Skenderbeu.
Milsami secured a 1-0 win in Bulgaria this week.
