Even the cheapest tickets for McGregor v Mayweather are shockingly expensive
The big fight is now only six weeks away, but if you plan on going you better have a very big wad of cash on hand.
In the midst of all the hoopla over last night's first press event featuring Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, the ticket prices to attend the actual bout also emerged.
Bleacher Report report on details from Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, who said last night that tickets to get into the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26 will start at $500 (€436).
And ESPN reporter Darren Rovell tweeted that there will be a 'very limited' number of tickets at the lowest price available.
While other tickets will be reportedly priced between $1,200 (€1,048) and $7,500 (€6,550) ringside seats will cost $10,000 (€8,735).
We also know pay-per-view fees in the US will cost between €70 and €80, with no exact details available here yet as to how much it will cost viewers in Ireland can watch the bout.
However, looking at all we know so far, including how much it costs companies to sponsor various aspects of the fight, it will also cost a pretty penny.
Better start saving.
