Beat the bookies with Aldo: A Christmas cracker of a treble
Liverpool and Ireland goal scoring great John Aldridge is back for another charity bet in association with Paddy Power and he is full of Christmas hope that he has come up trumps in his latest treble.
Aldo has not been alone in struggling to predict results in this unimaginable Premier League season, and the traditional slate of games on St Stephen's Day presents quite a few tricky games to call.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is the new favourite to be the next top boss to face the axe, but Aldo is avoiding their must-win game at Stoke.
Instead he is looking at two more reliable sides to win.
"Arsenal had a major confidence boosting win over Manchester City on Monday so they should travel to Southampton for the late kick-off in great form.
"And City, despite the loss, should be far too good at home for Sunderland."
Liverpool host table toppers Leicester and Aldo reckons his old side can get a draw from the high-flying Foxes.
Here is Aldo's bet for this week, with all winnings to be donated to Dublin's Temple Street Children's hospital:
€50 on Arsenal and Manchester City to win, Liverpool to draw today (potential returns €476.06)
