Woman killed after being struck by train in Co Kildare
Rail services to and from Heuston Station have reopened following a tragedy which took place earlier today in Sallins in Co Kildare.
The incident took place just after 3:30pm today and gardaí said they believe it to be a “personal tragedy".

A spokeswoman for Irish Rail said “everything is back moving” but that passengers should still expect “significant delays”.
The “majority of services” will be affected, but trains due to leave from 9pm should run on time.

Dublin Bus will accept customers rail tickets for the evening and people can use their rail tickets for travel tomorrow if they wish.
