Woman dies in Belfast to Dublin road bus crash
A woman has died and three people have been injured after bus collided with a car on the main A1 Belfast to Dublin Road.
The woman who died was in her 60s.
The crash happened shortly after 8am this morning near the Hillsborough Road on the side of the carriageway heading towards Lisburn.
Nobody in the coach was injured.
Three other injured parties were able to walk away from the crash.
The road was closed for a period of time causing delays and diversions have been put in place.
A police spokesperson said: "The A1 is closed between Hillsborough Road roundabout and Ballygowan Road/Dromore Road in both directions following the collision.
"Diversions are in place though motorists are advised to expect delays in the area for a number of hours."
