Wet conditions lead to three collisions on Irish roads this morning
Gardaí in Dublin and Cork are attending the scene of three separate crashes the morning, as motorists are warned of wet road conditions.
In the capital there has been a crash in the media of the M50 northbound, between the Blanchardstown and Finglas junctions.
Emergency services are also attending the scene of a collision on the Templeogue Road inbound before Terenure and delays are expected.
In Cork, there has been a crash on the Wilton Road at Dennehy’s Cross, the AA reports.
Earlier this morning a commuter train was delayed due a medical emergency.
The 5.40am Dundalk to Pearse train was delayed at Drogheda due to a customer on-board requiring medical assistance.
Irish Rail informed customers that a 25 minute delay was to be expected.
Commuters are advised to take caution due to the wet conditions across the country.
An overnight collision on the N7 Naas Road southbound has been cleared and the road has been re-opened.
