Weather warnings as snow falls in Dublin

Snow is falling this morning in Dublin and parts of Ulster.

Met Eireann has issued a snow and ice warning which will remain in place until 10:00am.

Between 1-3cm of snow is expected in Parts of Ulster and Leinster.

The snow is due to dissipate later this morning and will turn in to rain. However there will be accumulations in on hills and mountains.

Met Eireann reports temperatures will be between 6-8 degrees this afternoon. 

The AA are the gardai are warning of frost and ice on roads.

Motorists are advised to use caution. 

Traffic around Dublin city is slowing due to two incidents. 

Earlier a car was on fire on the Naas road but it has since been moved.

A bus was broken down on Nassau street, but has since been cleared.

There was collision at the junction of Mountview Road and the Blanchardstown road which has since been cleared.
