Two women have been arrested after they made a topless protest in the polling station where Donald Trump was set to vote in New York.

The women are reported to have chanted anti-Trump slogans before Secret Service agents whisked them away.

Video of the incident was posted online by Sharon Clott Kanter, who works for People magazine.

The incident took place in a polling station on 56th Street, just a few blocks from the Republican candidate's HQ at Trump Tower, and where he himself was due to vote just hours later.

As it is not illegal for women to be topless in New York City it is being reported that the protesters were arrested for electioneering inside a polling station.
