An angry teenager has told Tanaiste and Labour leader Joan Burton were she could stick her water bills.

While Deputy Burton was on the campaign trail in Kilkenny she was asked to take a selfie with the youngster.

There was then a discussion over the Budget but as the Tanaiste walked away the teenager appeared to be unhappy with her response.

He angrily told the Labour leader to shove her water bills “up her fiscal space.”

“My father is working class and he is struggling to pay his rent…” he continued as Ms Burton walked away.

“Yeah, run from your problems like you always do… and shove your water bills up your fiscal space!”
