VIDEO: Artic blast brings snow to Ireland
The snowfall predicted my Met Eireann earlier in the week has arrived.
Social media fans are frantically flocking to their chosen medium to post snaps and clips of the white stuff.

Today will be cold and wet with chances of snow, hail and heavy showers
The Met Office has also issued two marine warnings, with a Status Yellow Gale warning and a Status Yellow small craft warning in effect.

Met Eireann's Jean Byrne said on Monday: "things will get progressively colder from Wednesday onwards, turning very cold, windy and showery."

The bad weather will continue into the night with an ongoing risk of hail and thunder and sleet on high ground, with temperatures of between 0 to 3 degrees.
AA Roadwatch have warned motorists to reduce their speed and "leave a safe braking distance from the vehicle in front of you".
