Gardai in Bray have arrested two people in connection with the violent robbery and assault of vulnerable man at a Dart station.

Two people have been arrested in connection with a daylight attack on a young man who suffers from a form of autism.

The robbery happened at Bray Dart station at 6pm on Monday, April 4.

The victim, who is aged in his 20s, suffered a broken nose and two black eyes in the sickening robbery in which his mobile phone was snatched.

A man in his late 20s, and a woman in her late teens have been arrested.

The man was arrested in the Bray area yesterday, detained under Sect 4 CJA and later released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

While the teenager was arrested this morning in the Bray area and is currently detained at Bray Garda Station under Sect 4 CJA.

Shocking footage of the incident shows the brutal attack, while the victim's father has called for greater security to be put in place.
