Three arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after early morning stabbing

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in South Belfast.

A 33-year-old man was stabbed on Dunluce Avenue near Belfast city centre this morning.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service responded to reports of an attack in the area at around around 6.40am.

Paramedics have taken the man, who was treated at the scene, to the Royal Victoria Hospital.

The road is currently closed but pedestrians will have access to Dunluce Health Centre.

The Police have asked for anyone with information to contact them.
