Three arrested after burglary at popular Dublin city centre pub

Three men have been arrested after a burglary in a popular city centre pub early this morning.

The alarm was raised at 5am when intruders were spotted at The Lotts Cafe Bar on Liffey Street Lower on the city's north quays.

Gardai from the local Bridewell and the Regional Response Unit attended and discovered the front window of the property had been smashed.

One man was standing outside the pub with property, including bottles of spirits, on the path.

When gardai searched the premises they found two men inside.

All three were arrested and were being questioned at the Bridewell garda station this morning.
