Prepare yourselves for a sunny spell as Met Eireann is forecasting a dry and hot week ahead, with temperatures tipped to top 17 degrees tomorrow in some places.

A sunny spell is on the cards for this afternoon as temperatures are set to reach between 11-15 degrees.

Wednesday will be dry and sunny with light to moderate easterly winds and temperatures are expected to reach 17 degrees in areas.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-teens for Thursday, however but patchy rain is possible for parts of Cork and Kerry.
