Temperatures to hit 18°C this afternoon
Temperatures are to soar to 18° degrees this afternoon, giving the Irish public a chance to put the wind and rain of last weekend behind them.
Met Eireann today reports that we can expect:
Afternoon highs of 13° or 14° degrees C in northwestern areas, but 15° to 17° degrees C inland in Munster and in Leinster, possibly 18° degrees C in a few favoured places and warm in sunshine.
Accuweather.com reports that the warm weather will remain until 8pm this evening.
The week ahead looks reasonable with the Met office predicting “Mostly dry weather through the rest of the week and over next weekend.”
Ireland is about to experience a prolonged (by Irish standards) blast of blue skies and sunshine and this weather should last well into the middle of next week.
