Summer not done yet as high temperatures expected this week
The kids are back to school and the evenings are starting to get shorter but there is some very summery weather forecast for this week.
Today has been glorious and warm with temperatures hitting 25 on the east coast and the first half of this week will see similar summer-type weather across the country.
Tomorrow will also be warm and humid with top temperatures hitting 23 degrees.
There will be some isolated rain showers but most of us should enjoy a glorious day.
Wednesday will see more of the same, with early fog and mist burning off to give us another sunny and warm day, with temperatures hitting 18 to 22.
Wednesday night will see the weather turn fresher and according to Met Eireann the rest of the week and the weekend will see more widespread rain, with temperatures returning to the mid to high teens.
Our advice we be get out and enjoy the good weather now before the real Autumn conditions kick in.
