AS unlikely as it seems Eamon Dunphy and Johnny Giles will be strutting their stuff on a catwalk at a fashion show in Dublin this Thursday night.

But it's all for a good cause and the RTE motormouths will be joined by a string of well known faces at the 'Freedom of Dublin' charity event.

Proceeds from the event at City West Hotel with go to the John Giles Foundation and the Capuchin Centre for the homeless.

Others who'll be taking to the catwalk include Minister Alan Kelly, TV3's Glenda Gilson, former footballers Jason McAteer and Ray Houghton, TV presenter Aidan Power, model Sarah Morrissey and Fair City's Maclean Burke (Damien) and Dave O'Sullivan (Decco).

The event is being organised by Emma English, who is dating FAI boss John Delaney.

"John has decided to give the catwalk a miss this time round but will be helping me backstage," smiles Emma.

"We'll also have entertainment from Brian Kennedy and Seo Linn, who formed at the end of the Centenary show the other night on RTE.

"There will be about 10 professional models too."

Emma explains that the idea for the event first came about when Johnny Giles and Brother Kevin were given the 'Freedom of Dublin' award and this is the first joint fundraising venture for both charities.
