After a number of rollovers, a bumper Lotto jackpot was won last night by someone in the capital.

National Lottery HQ confirmed it was sold in Dublin and now it has emerged that the lucky winner bought the winning ticket in the Spar shop in Upper Baggot Street on Saturday.

A Lotto spokeswoman confirmed yesterday there was just one winning ticket in the Saturday night draw for €5,544,864.

The winning numbers were 8, 15, 17, 22, 34, and 38.  The bonus number was 10.

"We have no idea who won it," said a member of the sales staff in the Dublin 4 store today.

"We haven't heard anything about the winner yet. It was a great win," she said.

There were two Match 5+Bonus winners, each netting €60,093.

There were no winners of the top prizes in the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws.
