The Food Safety Authority of Ireland have issued a recall this morning for Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream as it may contain pieces of metal.

The alert says: 

'Unilever is recalling the above four batches of Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough ice cream, as they may contain small pieces of metal.  

'Unilever has issued a press notice and in-store notices requesting customers who have bought these batches not to eat them.  

'Customers can contact their Customer Careline on 1800 946272.  

'No other Ben & Jerry’s products are known to be affected.'

The batch numbers to look out for are L62110L011, L62111L011, L62112L011 and L62113L011 and recall applies to Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream; pack size: 500 ml; with a best before date of 01/2018.
