Rain, wind and spells of sunshine forecasted for Bank Holiday weekend

The unseasonably cold weather is set to continue today but should ease off over the weekend.
Heavy, more frequent rainfall is expected this afternoon following light showers during the morning.
Winds will still be present on Saturday, which will see temperatures during the day of between nine and 12 degrees.
There will be a mix of sunshine and showers on Saturday, and over the weekend, as the ambivalent weather continues in the country.
While fairly heavy rain is predicted for both Saturday and Sunday night, it should get warmer on Sunday afternoon with highs of up to 15 degrees.
A drop to an average of 11 degrees is expected on Bank Holiday Monday, a day that heavy showers and gusty winds.
The changeable weather is likely to continue into the middle of next week at least.
