AA Roadwatch have issued the following statement on their site:
Both the northbound and southbound bores of the Port Tunnel are closed due to an overturned truck in the northbound bore.
There are northbound delays from 3Arena on East Wall Rd and southbound traffic is slow from the M1/ M50 interchange as a result.
The traffic cordon for HGVs has been lifted.
The good news is that Dublin Fire Brigade believe there have been no injuries in the incident.
However, with Gardai saying the Tunnel may be closed for up to two hours, there will be knock on traffic delays for the remainder of the morning.
