Policewoman charged with stealing almost £4,000 from PSNI

A female police officer has been charged with stealing money from the PSNI.

The offences are alleged to have taken place from 2009-2014.

The seven offences the female officer has been charged with include theft and misconduct in public office.

The 41-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was due at Belfast Magistrate's Court today. The case was adjourned until December.

She is accused of stealing sums of £450, £985, £760 £1,290 and £300 from police exhibits, totaling £3,785.
