Pedestrian killed in fatal road collision

A 39-year-old female pedestrian was killed after she was struck by a van at 4:10pm today.

The incident occurred on the Moynead Cross to Shanballyduff Cross road, Moyne in Co. Tipperary.

The female pedestrian was seriously injured in the collision and pronounced dead at the scene, her body has been removed to the Morgue at Limerick Regional Hospital.

The male driver (55yrs) of the van was uninjured in the collision.
