Part of M50 closed off following 'serious' collision as evening commuters face delays
The M50 northbound has been closed off at Junction 4 following a collision this evening.
The crash happened after 5.00pm today:
Collision on M50 Northbound at junction 4, Ballymun. Inner most lane is currently blocked. Emergency Services en route. Delays expected— An Garda Síochána (@GardaTraffic) January 4, 2017
Emergency services rushed to the scene as one lane of the northbound bore remained open:

All lanes were then closed following the collision:

Traffic is said to be building from Junction 5 as commuters face long delays on Ireland's busiest motorway this evening.
