One dead following horror crash
A man in his 30s has died following a collision on the M7 motorway in Limerick today.
The incident occurred between northbound junctions J28 and J29 on the motorway.
At 9.59am, members of the Limerick City and County Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene, where the car is believed to have crashed over a rail and into a ditch.
Emergency services, including five fire service units, ambulance services and gardai attended the scene.
AA Roadwatch has cautioned people to avoid the area between the J29 and J28 due to "heavy traffic".
The road remains closed as gardai investigate the incident
