A 25-year-old woman has been charged by police investigating the murder of Kyle Neil.

It comes after Wesley Harry Vance, of Mill Street in Comber, appeared in court charged with murder yesterday.

Vance's lawyer said that their client had admitted stabbing Kyle Neil, but maintained that he was acting in self-defence.

The lawyer also said that he was a "friend" of Mr Neil, but that he feared for his life during the incident.

The woman has been charged with assisting an offender and will appear in court later today (Wednesday).

Mr Neil's body was found in the boot of a Ford Fiesta car on the Windsor Road in South Belfast on Sunday morning.
