Three released in Dessie Mee death investigation

Two men and a woman who were arrested by police investigating the death of a man in Newtownards have been released.

Dessie Mee, 45, died after an incident at an apartment at Miller's House on Regent Street in the town on Tuesday.

Two men aged 35 and 42, and a 29-year-old woman were arrested have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The police understand the victim fell from a window in an upstairs flat in the building, and are investigating whether or not he fell or was pushed.

A postmortem has been carried out on Mr Mee, who was from the Blenheim Drive in the town.
