Man charged in £200k County Armagh drugs bust

A 39-year-old man has been charged with possession of a class A drug, possession of a class drug with intent to supply, possessing criminal property, concealing criminal property and possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances.

 He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court on Monday.

The man was arrested after police searched a house in the Cabry Heights area of Keady, County Armagh, on Friday.

Police found cocaine with an estimated street value of £200,000 during the search.

A 36 year old woman has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
