Four people have been charged after the police seized £170,000 in cash, two high-end sports cars and four high-end designer watches during a police operation in Armagh yesterday.

Two men aged 31, 38 and 58 and a 56-year-old woman will appear at Newry Magistrate's Court this morning.

The 31-year-old man, 58-year-old and the 56-year-old woman have been charged with concealing criminal property, converting criminal property, two counts of possessing criminal property and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Additionally, the 31-year-old man has been charged with transferring criminal property.

The 38-year-old man has been charged with possessing criminal property and transferring criminal property.

The had police had launched the operation to target what they believe is a gang involved in the supply of illegal drugs and other criminality.
