Fifth man arrested by cops investigating heroin supply in Belfast

A fifth man has been arrested by detectives investigating the supply of heroin in the greater Belfast area.

 Yesterday, four men aged 20, 26 33 and 37 were arrested and a number of properties searched.

 The 37-year-old man was later released.

 Today a 23-year-old man was arrested in Belfast city centre and is currently being questioned by police in Musgrave Street police station.

 Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop said: “If you are involved in the supply of drugs, you should expect to be arrested. We will relentlessly pursue those suspected of such offences. There are further arrests to follow.”
