A Ballycastle man who was arrested after a one-punch attack on his brother in Australia leaving him critically injured has received a suspended sentence.

Barry Lyttle and his brother Patrick were enjoying a night out in Sydney in January when they got into a row.

Barry punched 31-year-old Patrick, who stumbled backwards and hit his head off the pavement.

Patrick was in a critical condition in hospital but has since recovered.

His brother Barry sat by his bedside throughout his recovery.

At Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney a judge handed down Barry a 13-month suspended sentence.

Barry can now return home with his family.
